Wow, a very (in german) "gemuetliche" old style kitchen. But white means often cleaning? But white is a good background color for colorful fabrics (table and windows etc.) Greetings from Germany Doro
Sharp eye Mary. Yes there are many similarities to the PM kitchen. My client loved that kitchen. The style and time period fit the time period we were tryingto recreate here. It was a match made in heaven. It's no easy thing to recreate something you have never seen in person. I spent more time with the kitchen cabinets than I did with any other aspect of this house. I know I gave the cabinet makers heartburn everyday. As you can see it was all worth it.
I agree it was worth it. I am green with envy. I just discovered your blog and have been drooling all morning. It is nice to see there are true artisans left in the world.
