Presenting Part1 of "Grandmother's House"

The time has come. I know some of you have been clawing at my door for this kit. Your wait is over. Over the next few weeks you will be able to gather the whole kit and some stunning QP's by the DMD CT. This kit has been particularly fun for me. I am after all, an old house fanatic. This truly was a labor of love. I sure those of you who do not have old house photos to scrap will find other things or heritage situation for these items. House warming, Remodels, etc. Never the less I have enjoyed making it. My CT have been the most supportive and creative lot you can imagine. I would present an idea and they would get right to work to bring it into being. CT member Barb. created and great cast iron alpha set, CT member Tina has whipped up some tags and other embellishments, CT member Sandy, made an antique house deed that you can fill in your your own information, as well as collecting some great door knocker elements. You'll get a chance to download them all in the next few weeks. Just in time for Mother's day.

I can still hear the squeek of the old screen door. DOWNLOAD

Derek... I can not tell you how much your work means to me. My grandmother was the most important person in my life. She lived in a lovely little house (not grand at all), but it had the gingerbread fretwork that I remember all so well. I'm not sure I really have a photograph of the house, or if it is all still in my mind. But if I can find one, I will send it to you, as it is the best house I have EVER seen...and loved. Thank you so much for sharing your talent and hard work. It brings back so many memories to me.. and isn't that what it's all about?

You would say anything bad about you unless of course they are envious of you and your talent. This kit is going to be awesome and just wanted to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. Especially since it is free I live on disability and doesn't leave anything for luxuries..Have a great day and keep up the great work so nice to see a man in this field.

Thank you! I've been anxiously awaiting this kit. I come from a family of architects and old house fans so this one really appeals to me in a big way. I have some great old house pictures I'm trying to get more information on so I can scrap them with this.

Derek, Derek, Derek!!!

I am a blubbering mess as I sit here listening to one of our MOST favorite songs, "Somewhere in Time" (do movies get any better than this one??? Richard? Richard!!!) and SO relishing EVERY single bit of eye candy before me!

I feel SO deprived as I've been in a world of my own for months trying to stay afloat and have MISSED your INCREDIBLE genius!!!

Not only is it OKAY that you are a GUY who scraps and designs, but you bring the digital design realm to a whole NEW level my friend!!!

I am SO happy that I subscribed to your feed long ago and something told me to get my self over here today and CHECK IT OUT!!!

GORGEOUS, UNIQUE and DEFINITELY filled with a masculine touch!!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!

The AMBIANCE is TOTALLY amazing - LOVE your blog template, the EXQUISITE selection of music (which I shall be listening to while in "lockdown" in PS today) and the, OMGosh, chiming (or charming!) grandfather clock!!!

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! WOO HOO - you've put me in a nostalgic mood!!!

Guess you know what I'll be sharing with my blog readers next post!!! You ROCK big time!!!

Hugs,
Linda :)

Thank you so much for your fabulous vintage items. They inspire us to do something with the old photos of our ancestors. So many are with out names that it is sad but for those that we can identify it will be awesome to put with these papers. Thank you for sharing your talent. We will miss your input greatly.
