THANK YOU! To all of you for showing your support. I feel a little dumb for letting it bother me like it did. Life sometimes can make you a bit thinned skinned. As Dolly Parton says in the movie Pillow Talk. "It's time to get down off the cross, someone needs the wood". If anything its shown me just how many people care and are out there reading my scribbles. I can't give you a big enough THANK YOU!!! Even the !!! don't do it justice. After a week offline, just catching up on my blog reading and was quite frankly astonished by the comment you received. Apart from being downright rude and more than a little irrelevant, it was so revealing about the author that one couldn't help feeling a touch embarrassed for her. I rarely comment, but in the wake of that just wanted to let you know that you are one of a handful of people whose creations inspired me to have a go at designing myself...particularly your Skelegance and Cast Iron series were proof to me that scrapping didn't have to be all flowers and frills (not that they don't have their place lol!). You have such a unique style and flair that it would be a tremendous shame to let it overshadowed by a lone voice, however mean-spirited. Regrettably, I don't have time to read blogs or search for downloads every day, or even every week (oh if only!) but when I do have time there are a handful of very talented designers I make sure to visit, not just for their creations but also for their thoughts, as each has a 'voice' that is uniquely involving, thought-provoking or amusing (and soemtimes all three), and that handful most certainly includes you.
I am so glad you are feeling better.
