I'm not one of those year round Halloween guys. I move on to the next Holiday as easily as going through a door. The blog get s a new look for November. This time of year I tend to look back and think of Thanksgivings past. I think of old tranferware dishes, Avon cape cod ruby glass ware and gold flatware. All things I remember from Thanksgiving at my grand parents home. My Grand mother, whom I was very close too, had dinnerware very similar to what you see above. Hers was called Spring Valley. Shown above is what my wife and I have. Friendly Village.We got it for that very reason, the grandma connection. So stay tuned for a Digi kit filled with my fond memories of my "Grandmothers Thanksgiving table".

Being AF brat, I don't ever recall having Thanksgiving with my grandmothers. They would have them with us from time to time. Love the platter, though

I can't wait for this kit to be released! My family and I use this same tableware...Friendly Village.AND I have such fond memories of going 'over the river and thru the woods' to spend Thanksgiving with my Grandparents. This kit is going to be great with our Thanksgiving pics this year. I really enjoy your blog...I have shared it with many of the men in my life. I must tell you, your Halloween page was a HUGE hit with my men! Thanks for doing what you do.
