I'm really loving this series "Grandmother's House". My maternal grandmother's house was a big Victorian and these architectural parts remind me a lot of it. I found today's installment on DigiScrap Depot, but I have arrived here before through Digi Free. Thanks for sharing all these amazing discoveries and creations with us.

ReplyDeleteLast Monday while on my way to see a back specialist in Wichita, KS we drove through Greensburg, KS. The small town that was 95% destroyed by a tornado a year ago. There were several lovely Victorian homes there and now there are empty lots. I wanted to cry.
I had 12 family members living there at the time and thankfully they all survived, but lost their homes, cars, and places of employment.
How sad it was to see beautiful old homes that were landmarks completely gone.
They are rebuilding, but the old homes are now gone forever.
Thanks for all you lovely shares.
